[extract from matrix paragraphs ABAA]…In the Garden of Eden story, Adam and Eve receive the entire planet as their personal private property, with the exception of the fruit of two specific trees.  They are allowed to climb or play in those trees – the one restriction on their activity is the prohibition against eating that fruit.  [Footnote regarding the fruit:  the text does not specify ‘apple’.  If Adam and Eve were created 6,000 years ago, and if Eden was in the Euphrates Basin, the best scientific guess is that the fruit was an apricot.  But Roman Catholic doctrine for four centuries of the Darker Ages held that the fruit was a mushroom.]  When Adam and Eve ate the apricot, their first concern was not guilt that they had committed a theft of (the only) property which did not belong to them, it was concern that they were naked.

In the next major story of the Bible, Noah and family leave the Ark after the Deluge waters subside.  Noah gets totally wasted, and passes out, naked, in his tent.  One of his kids notices this and comments on it to his brothers who then walk backwards into the tent to cover their father without looking at his nude body.  The consequence for the son who saw his father naked, is that he gets cursed when his brothers get blessed.  The text here completely ignores Noah’s offence of drunkenness, which caused the nakedness.

Both of these early stories in Genesis have strongly negative connotations for nudism.  Why?  What’s the moral here?
