In Irvin Kershner's thriller, Faye Dunaway plays a fashion photographer who starts to "see" murders through her camera lens and gradually realizes she's being stalked by a killer.  Tommy Lee Jones is the detective trying to figure the who and why.  John Carpenter co-wrote this fairly suspenseful thriller with a couple of tricky twists.

Thomas Parr lived for l52 years and 9 months through the reigns of ten monarchs and was buried in Westminster Abbey by order of King Charles I. The inscription on his small white marble gravestone in the centre of the South Transept reads:

     Most of the information about the life of this agricultural labourer who found fame because of his longevity is recorded in John Taylor's pamphlet printed in l635 entitled The Old, Old, Very Old Man or the Age and Long Life of Thomas Parr. He was the son of John Parr of Winnington near Shrewsbury in the county of Shropshire. Thomas married his first wife Jane Taylor when he was about 80 years old and they had a son and daughter, both of whom died in infancy. At the age of l00 he did penance by standing draped in a white sheet in the parish church for being unfaithful to his wife and having an illegitimate child by Katherine Milton. Ten years after Jane's death he married Jane Lloyd but they had no children.

     A diet of green cheese, onions, coarse bread, buttermilk or mild ale (cider on special occasions) and no smoking kept Thomas healthy. His recipe for long life was reputed to be "Keep your head cool by temperance and your feet warm by exercise. Rise early, go soon to bed, and if you want to grow fat [prosperous] keep your eyes open and your mouth shut".

     In l635 Thomas Howard, Earl of Arundel, was visiting one of his Shropshire estates and he heard all about the incredible man known as "Old Parr", then said to be l52 years old. The Earl decided to take him to London to see King Charles I, and Thomas left Shropshire never to return. The journey was made in easy stages, as Thomas had been blind for twenty years, and the Earl provided a jester for his entertainment. He was presented at Court and on seeing the old man Charles I asked him "You have lived longer than other men. What have you done more than other men?". Parr replied "Sire, I did penance when I was a hundred years old". Thomas was treated with kindness and crowds came to see him.  His portrait was painted and there is a copy in the National Portrait Gallery in London showing him with dark brown eyes, and white shaggy eyebrows, moustache and whiskers. But, as shown by the post mortem carried out by the eminent physician Dr William Harvey, the change in diet, with rich wines, and the pollution of the City were too much for Old Parr and he died within a few weeks of arriving in London. The King ordered his burial in the Abbey and his grave has been pointed out to visitors ever since.

OURSELVES AND GERMANY rare1938 British-Nazi friendship book by the Marquess of Londonderry, K.G. 

This is the FIRST Penguin EDITION hardcover published in Harmondsworth, England in October, 1938. It was preceded by four printings of small press runs by Robert Hale, Ltd. in April and June.  When Hale couldn't keep up with public demand, the task was given to a more efficient Penguin.  This hardcover edition adds a second preface to Hale's text,

and has a 19-page appendix written in May, 1938 which was contained only in Hale's fourth impression. This hardcover edition was followed by two Penguin paperback press runs -- then the advent of World War Two caused the book to be officially suppressed. Most copies have disappeared. 183 pp, 7 1/4" x 4 1/2". Very rare book.  The Marquess wrote:  "The strained relationship which may be said to exist between Great Britain and Germany is something which we should seek to remove, and it will only be by a sympathetic understanding that this object can be achieved.  There are many points of

similarity between our two countries, and there is a racial connection which in itself establishes a primary friendly feeling between us....." The Marquess spoke low German, and as an air force man he had visited the experiments on the Frisian Islands in the early 1930s.  When he says in this book that his "first" visit to Germany began on January 29, 1936, he probably means first in a semi-official capacity.  He was present at the 1935 dinner referred to in South of Tuk Issue #107 and mentions in this book that he could understand and communicate with those Nazis who spoke the northern dialects.  He understood enough German to personally take part in the editing of the German edition of this book, published in July, 1938 by Essener Verlaganstalt.  The Marquess was accused of being a Nazi sympathizer.  He wasn't -- and does make that clear in this book -- although he also makes it clear that he is a fool who doesn't understand vital first principles. Let me quote Star Trek’s Mr. Spock: "Peace", said Spock. "An amicable goal.  You cannot have peace without strength as long as there exist people who choose to impose their lives upon yours." THE ROUND TOWERS OF ATLANTIS [IRELAND]

This book was first published in 1834 as The Round Towers of Ireland or the Mysteries of Freemasonry, of Sabaism, and of Budhism, then re-published in 1898 as The Round Towers Or The History Of The Tuatha De Danaans.  It is now again back in print, and is billed by the re-publisher (Adventures Unlimited) as “the first modern study of Atlantis, Round Towers, pre-Christian megalithic architecture, secret societies, Druidic Culture and the origins of modern Celtic Christianity.”  However, it does not have any specific reference to Atlantis (or even Plato) in the book.  The book is written in the turgid style of its time and is not an easy read for the modern reader.  The publisher’s assertion may have a factual basis:  there are numerous parallels in the book to Ignatius Donnelly and James Churchward; Henry O’Brien has done similar research and drawn similar conclusions. The author’s observation that insects have specialized antennae with shapes variant according to communication needs, and that these towers are communications devices also has parallels in Nikola Tesla and Edgar Cayce. Thus, the book is certainly worth reading. 

O'Brien claimed that the round towers (which were a common feature of early Irish Christian monastic sites) were in fact phallic symbols built by the Tuatha De Danann (pre-Christian pagans) as part of an ancient cult he linked with ancient Greece, Egypt, India and Buddhism.  The Tuatha De Danaan appear in ancient Irish mythology and the earliest written histories of Ireland as among the first people to arrive in Ireland. They defeated another people called the Fir Bolg and made Ireland their home. Another wave of settlers called the Milesians, believed to be from Spain and originally Turkey, followed and defeated the Tuatha De Danaan. The Tuatha De Danaan were said to have magical powers and after their defeat retreated into the underworld becoming the fairy folk of popular Irish lore.  O'Brien claimed that the Celtic languages, religion and civilization originated in cultures that existed in ancient India where Buddhism began. He claimed commonalities with ancient Iran, Egypt and Greece, citing similar phallic worship, likening the typical Irish round tower to upright standing stones, monuments and obelisks of the ancient world.  In the 20th and 21st century the consensus among most historians and archaeologists is that the round towers were for refuge from Viking and Gaelic Irish attacks on monasteries. The minority accepted view is that they were used as belfries similar to free standing belfry towers on the Continent.

O'Brien defied orthodoxy linking his mythical lost civilization (not specified to be Atlantis), the round towers, contemporary secret societies, the occult, freemasons and the Tuath De Danaan. His writings are a supposed counter-narrative to those of orthodox historians.  His works have influenced generations of pseudo-historians, science fiction writers and modern day conspiracy theorists.  ISBN 1931882010; 2002 softcover; in ‘as new’ condition.

OPERATION MAJORITY

NOTE: This brief article appeared in South of Tuk in November, 1976, based on a report delivered at the Second Rice Lake Conference by a high-ranking USN officer who had read the entire Grudge file and was a participant in the inter-agency (spy versus spy) rivalry to hog information for each supposedly independent agency.  This cell system is characteristic of totalitarian/terrorist methodology everywhere.

OPERATION MAJORITY

DEFINITIONS:

MAJESTY: code name for Supreme Entity (possibly, but not likely to be:  President of the United States) co-ordinating all communications containing any of this information.

OPERATION MAJORITY: code name of the operation responsible for every aspect, project and consequence of the alien presence upon planet earth.

GRUDGE:  is an obsolete data base in possession and control of the Central Intelligence Agency, of information collected initially by the Office of Strategic Services (CIA predecessor), commencing December, 1942 up to and including November, 1972, by any and every federal, state or regional authority in the United States, including the United States Air Force, United States Navy, National Security Administration and federal and state police, and by similar authorities of some friendly nations including Norway [US State Department, which collected information during the transition from OSS to CIA, was present to examine the wreckage from UFO crash at Spitzbergen in the Norwegian Arctic in 1946, for example], Mexico [December, 1950 UFO crash] and Canada [1946 Peterborough (with a survivor) and 1950 Malton crashes], which have been verified according to the standard rules of evidence, and which contain all scientific, technological, medical and intelligence information gathered primarily from Identified Alien Craft [IAC] and also Unidentified Flying Objects [UFO].  From February 16, 1961 onwards to November, 1972, initially under order that date of President John F. Kennedy, the scientific and technological portion of this information was officially shared [evidence exists of unofficial sharing since 1945] with the upper bureaucracy of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.  This data base, via the President, includes all information gathered by the separate and competing on-going investigations by USAF, USN, NSA, NASA and others, up to November, 1972.  The shared portion has significantly accelerated the American space program.

SUMMARY OF ASSERTIONS:

     On April 30, 1964, the four alien races that have had a presence on planet Earth for at least 25,000 years [long-term bases amongst the Basque, Fryslan and British near Saint Michael’s ley line, near aboriginal populations in the south-west USA (aboriginal blood is higher in iodine than white) and under Antarctic ice], agreed to designate the President of the United States as the supreme representative of earth’s inhabitants, and signed a secret treaty with President Johnson.  The treaty established peace amongst the four rival alien races [for the first time since the sinking of Atlantis] and gave each a sphere of influence on Earth, converted the Nordic base on the far side of the moon (visited by Nikola Tesla in 1956) into a joint operational base, legitimized one existing underground Earth base (‘head office/embassy’) for each race in the greater New Mexico area, and provided each of the five parties to the treaty with four hostages (officially known as ‘guests’) – one from each of the other parties.  The large-nosed grey ‘guest’ of America, known as O.H. Crill, became the spokesperson for his fellow-ALFs (Alien Life Forms) and is the chief author of the Yellow Book, an alien disinformation project retaliatory to US neutralizing attempts such as Project Joshua and Project Excalibur.  The United States, as the fifth party to the treaty, is to formally gain the technological benefits it has already been receiving as the heir to a previous treaty signed by Adolf Hitler and the large-nosed greys (Das Drachen Pakt, 1940).  As the victor of World War Two, America had already taken over the Nazi technological conduit, through an organizational apparatus established by President Eisenhower (the Jason Scholars).  The treaty simply recognises the status quo.

     The aliens feed on cattle and human blood (genetically over 98% the same, hence in an emergency humans can transfuse cattle blood) preferably that which is high in iodine, adrenalin and hydrogen peroxide [water with extra oxygen; cures most disease].  The treaty grants permission to continue using humans as fodder, but a list of victims, human and animal, now must be provided to American authorities on a regular basis.  Americans assume an obligation to suggest victims to the aliens.  [From the American point of view, this has meant identifying (to eliminate) the weak, dispensable and disposable portion of the population – but this has back-fired because this unhealthy segment of the population is unsuitable as alien fodder.  However, since this segment has been identified, it is being used by the CIA for other purposes, notably biological and psychological weapons testing.]  The aliens had already been installing microscopic brain implants into humans to inhibit the pineal and thyroid glands, to accelerate the adrenal glands, and to enable automated mind control.  This has also been legitimized by the treaty, but now is limited to 3% of the population, and a list of implanted people must be updated regularly.  [The Squawk, which controls most populations, rarely exceeds 3% of the population: control of 3% can be easily manipulated into control of 100%.  The Nazis, as an example, began with six men meeting in a beer hall.  After 13 years of effective oratory, voluntary party membership reached 3% of the German population, enough to democratically take power.  (Once in power, membership became compulsory for civil servants, educators, military officers and anyone in any leadership position.) ]

     All parties to the Aliens and Earth Treaty agreed to perpetual secrecy.    

     President Johnson’s (or, more accurately, his handlers’) justification for signing a treaty was to buy time.  Time to find a way to use the alien’s technology against them.  Time to find a way to make human blood unfit for alien consumption – by deliberately making everybody sick.  Time to find other solutions.  Project Joshua has been an attempt, marginally successful, to broadcast low frequency sound which will neutralize alien craft (same principles as homeopathy: reproduce the ailment’s harmonics).  [2012 update note: rap music will drop ‘em!]  Project Excalibur is an attempt to devise an atomic weapon which can penetrate one kilometre into the ground to the alien underground bases before it explodes.

     Keeping the pledged secrecy is extremely expensive.  For over 400 years, the world economy has been based on the drug trade:  from mild drugs such as tea, coffee, alcohol and tobacco all the way up to today’s much more potent pharmaceuticals.   So governments restrict, control, tax or prohibit drugs to decrease supply and raise prices; then start secretly selling drugs themselves.  The public face of the government continues to frown on drug marketing by the competition:  the high profit potential necessary to finance the government’s secret disinformation activity repeatedly generates private competition which needs to be shut down.  In short, the CIA and other government agencies and prominent powerful families (Jason Scholars) continue to monopolize the drug trade to finance the secrecy needed to (literally) buy time.  The fundamental problem -- the presence of hostile and technologically superior alien races who have domesticated humanity as food supply --   remains unresolved; perhaps irresolvable.

FORGET TO REMEMBER

[ODAX]Those who love mysteries will be familiar with Nero Wolfe’s side-kick, Archie Goodwin, and his uncanny ability to repeat verbatim, sometimes weeks or months later, conversations held with clients or witnesses. Once, messengers were specially trained for such remembrance. Words spoken with authority were understood to have a lasting value in the continued affairs of men. Messages transmitted between distant rulers were spells embodying the spirit of the sender, and an attack on the messenger was an attack on the sender. Relaying a false, edited or expurgated message was an offence against the soul of the sender. The invention of the telephone has led to a logarithmic increase in sin -- an increase in separation and alienation -- due to the unprecedented increase in false, erratic and careless memory communication. (And messengers have been replaced with diplomats: professional liars.)
[ODAY]Memory is a tool of cultural and spiritual advance or decay. Carl Jung talked extensively about how a shared unconscious memory affects us in our daily lives. Clifford Hugh Douglas and the other Social Credit philosophers talked about how possession of the results of our collective memory – our cultural inheritance, or the increment of human association -- affects us in political, economic and sociological ways, and how the usurpation of that possession by self-appointed custodians negates our ability to produce the results we intend – how it hinders us from creating our own reality.
Memory is the tool which allows learning. One needs to remember the simple skills in order to advance to higher skills, and this applies to every field of endeavour. It applies also in the development of human relationships, where one remembers the lovingkindnesses of others – or the emotional pain which has been inflicted – and the relationship grows closer or more distant as the memories build.
[ODAZ]But the average human’s memory is faulty. As the years roll on, the details get fuzzier. In the meantime, we’ve usually told so many lies which we must remember that we’ve replaced our real memories with those faulty ones. And, since memory has a physical component and therefore can be distributed in water and in smoke, we have all physically absorbed memories that do not belong to us. Many of these memories have been deliberately watered and smoked into us by people with their own vested interests.
Remembrance is, physically, an act of time-travel. The chemical and electrical forces in the brain physically take some part of us through time to a former place in time. A modern analogy would be hitting the restore or default button on your personal computer to take it back to a former place in time. But the hard-drive (your brain) is always in danger of being corrupted by viruses – unknown or unexpected forces, primarily other people’s thoughts.
[ODBA]James Churchward interpreted the scientific records of Mu to demonstrate that every force is polar; that is, it consists of two opposing but affinitive forces. Humans try to use those forces which are useful or beautiful, to create those results which are desired. That is the increment of the particular force. But the force also has a decrement – a movement in the opposite direction. Using the same knowledge which Churchward extracted from the records of Mu, Nikola Tesla was able to drive a car from New York City to Albany – without a motor – transferring energy directly from ‘thin air’ into the car’s transmission. Using the same knowledge of affinitive forces, Viktor Schauberger was able to make logs float uphill for the Austrian government.
[ODBB]Memory is a tool which physically moves some part of us through time to extract knowledge needed in the present. What cannot be retrieved is emotion, because emotion only occurs in the present tense. Emotion cannot be transmitted through time. It can be re-experienced only in the present tense.
[ODBC]Before we acquired writing as a substitute for or an aid to memory, those who had advanced to great heighths in their particular field of knowledge and had no disciples yet capable of fully understanding that knowledge had to invent rituals in which the vocabulary could be fully transmitted to future generations without them necessarily understanding the knowledge. The ritual was easier to memorize than the knowledge which it contained. Thus in 1979, Robert Temple was able to examine the 4000-year-old rituals of the Dogon, a remote tribe in Africa, and extract from them details of the three stars in Sirius, with an orbital description accurate to four decimal points (!!!) – at a time when modern science did not suspect the existence of the third star [and only one of the stars is visible to earthlings]. Temple’s 1979 published description was verified by astronomers’ discovery of the third star in 1981. The Dogon had successfully remembered an invisible extra-terrestrial event for over 4,000 years.
[ODBD]What the aforesaid memory course for messengers actually developed in them was a limited ability to tune into the akashic record. The laws of physics which describe wave phenomena also apply to every event. The vibration of the event moves away from the event in every direction through space and time. Anyone who can resonate in harmony with the frequency of an event can extract, from any position in space or time (past or future), all knowledge contained in the event. Messengers were trained to resonate only in harmony with their senders, thus becoming able effortlessly to retrieve any message verbatim from the akashic record.
[ODBE]Those who achieve higher levels of spiritual consciousness no longer need to study any books or strain to remember any event – all books and all events are available to them at will because they have learned to resonate in harmony with any frequency they desire. All knowledge of any kind is available to them effortlessly. This allows them to spend all of their time fulfilling divine purpose: experiencing (feeling – not knowing) existence, and creating their own reality.
